My Gender and the Workplace class

So I started school again. I think this is officially my 11th year of college (ugh). Every year i feel like I can tolerate other people's stupidity less and less. Northeastern requires every student to take a diversity class of some sort. I signed up for Gender in the Workplace. I'm kind of jazzed about it. I love a good forum for spouting my feminist vitriol. but man oh man...i wasn't prepared. I wasn't prepared for the naked sexism that comes through the discussion board, and not just against women! People are very comfortable putting men and women into these tiny boxes that make sense to them. It's INFURIATING!! For example, one person posted "no heterosexual man can be friends with a woman without considering a romantic relationship, unless she's married"......

I'm doing my best not to lose my cool and go postal.
